Photos you open in the tool are processed in your browser on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Cookies and visit statistics

We set no cookies and use no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not build a profile of you: it records the page address, the referring page, the browser type, the country and page load times. If the site or the tool hits a script error, your browser sends us the error message, the script file and the page path (no photo, no purchase code, no email), which we keep in our server logs for troubleshooting. The site stores your colour theme in your browser's local storage. After a purchase, the tool keeps three things in your browser's local storage so that this device stays unlocked: your licence code, the email address PayPal gave us for the purchase, and what the licence unlocks. It also remembers the country you chose for the price. They never leave your device except when the tool sends the licence code to our server to load the paid content. Clearing the site data removes them; use Restore with your licence code, or with your PayPal receipt, to unlock again.

Purchases

When you start a checkout we store: the product, the country you chose, the country your connection comes from as reported by Cloudflare (not your IP address), the price, the VAT applied and the VAT rule used, and, if you are in the EU or the UK, that you asked for immediate access and acknowledged losing the 14-day withdrawal (UK: cancellation) right, with the time you did so. When PayPal completes the payment we add: your email address from PayPal, the country of your PayPal account, the country of your billing or shipping address and the issuing country of your card (when PayPal provides them), the PayPal order and transaction IDs, the amount paid, and the fee PayPal charged us and the amount we received. If a payment is refunded or reversed, we record the refund amount and date. Your licence code and any gift code are shown on screen; we store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of them. We never see card numbers: PayPal handles the payment under its own privacy statement and sends the payment receipt.

Restore with your PayPal receipt: if you lost your licence code, the tool's Restore screen asks for the email address you paid with and the PayPal transaction ID. We compare them with the purchase record above and give you a new licence code; the old one stops working. We record with your purchase that your code was replaced, and when (a scrambled copy of the old code, never the codes themselves); nothing else is added. To stop people guessing, a failed attempt stores a scrambled (hashed) copy of the email address and of the transaction ID you typed, with the time, for 30 days; we never store your IP address for this. Nothing is sent to you by email.

Why: to deliver the purchase, let you restore it and handle refunds (the contract with you), and to keep the accounting and VAT records the law requires, including two pieces of evidence of the country you are in (legal obligation). We do not use this data for marketing.

How long: Belgian accounting and VAT law requires these records to be kept for seven years, counted from 1 January of the year after the financial year of the purchase. A purchase made in 2026 is therefore kept until 31 December 2033 and then deleted.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the service. For the pages themselves we receive only aggregate statistics, no access logs. Requests to our API (the addresses under /api/, used for checkout, restore and the paid content) are logged in Cloudflare Workers Logs: the request address, method and headers, which include your IP address and the approximate location Cloudflare derives from it, the response status, and our own log lines (purchase reference, product and error codes; never your email address or licence code). We use these logs only to run and secure the service and to fix errors (our legitimate interest). Cloudflare deletes them automatically after at most 7 days. We do not export or copy them anywhere else.

Children

The site can be used by children. It has no accounts for pupils, no tracking, no ads and no way to publish content. Purchases are for adults (parents, teachers, schools).

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your purchase data (we delete it unless the law requires us to keep it), and you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35 / Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, Belgium, dataprotectionauthority.be, which is our lead authority. You can also complain to the data protection authority of the EU country where you live or work. Email [email protected].
