Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-01. These terms are between you and Mohamed Eldib, Braemstraat 89D, 9050 Gentbrugge, Belgium, enterprise number 1041.877.988 (see the imprint).
What the tool is
See Like Animals shows an approximation of how an animal's eyes would render a photo, based on published measurements and labelled estimates. It is for education and entertainment; it is not a scientific instrument or veterinary advice.
Your photos
You keep all rights to your photos. They are processed on your device.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and the same in every country: the full unlock costs €4.99, once. UK buyers pay 20% UK VAT on top (€5.99 for the unlock), shown before payment. The seller is a small business under the Belgian special small-business VAT exemption scheme (art. 56bis of the Belgian VAT Code), so no VAT is charged on EU sales. Payment runs through PayPal, which requires buyers to be 18 or older; younger users can ask a parent to buy or to send a gift code. After payment you see a purchase confirmation with the reference of your order.
Purchases and licences
A full unlock is a personal licence for one person and includes every species, HD export and unlimited reveal videos. A gift code gives the same unlock to the person who redeems it. A teacher licence covers one teacher's classes; a school licence covers the teachers of one school, for the period bought. Refunds: see the refund policy.
Our content
Page text, renders and the compiled catalogue are ours unless marked otherwise. Source data belongs to its authors under the licences listed on sources and licences.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence (or that of people we are responsible for), for death or personal injury caused by our fault, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. That includes your rights when digital content you paid for does not work as promised (EU Digital Content Directive (EU) 2019/770, as applied in your country): you can ask us to fix it, and if we cannot or do not do so in reasonable time, you can get a price reduction or your money back.
The tool shows an approximation for education and entertainment (see "What the tool is" above). If you buy as a business or a school, and apart from the cases in the first paragraph, our total liability for a purchase is limited to the price paid for it.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection you have under the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live.
If you are a consumer living in the EU, you can bring a claim in the courts of your own country or in Belgium, and we can bring a claim against you only in the courts of your country. Otherwise, the Belgian courts for the seller's address are competent.
The European Commission closed its Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform on 20 July 2025, so there is no ODR link. If something goes wrong, email [email protected] and we will try to resolve it with you.
